On 03/17/67, Mary Lynn Thaemert of Arvada, Colorado consented to be the wife of
		Stuart Oscar Loventhal.  They were married in Arvada, Colorado.  They had three
		sons.  Jeffrey Michael, born 7/20/67; Brian Keith, born 4/30/69; and Scott Andrew,
		born 3/23/73.  They lived in Colorado until 1976 when they ventured out to
		California.  The family has lived in several areas around the San Francisco Bay
		Area.  After the kids grew up, Stu and Mary moved to New Jersey, but eventually
		returned to California.  After going back to school to get a Masters degree in
		Special Education teaching and both his credentials, he began teaching 6th grade
		Special Education students at a local middle school in Oakley.  Stu recently
		retired from his second career in 2014.  They currently live in Fairfield, CA
		at Paradise Valley Estates (a CCRC).  Stu and Mary are busy keeping up with all
		the activities and things to do that retired persons seems to have. They spend a
		lot of their time with family and church activities.  Mary is involved with bible
		study, Bereavement Committee and still loves to cook.  And of course, Stu loves
		to "play" with his computers, play pickleball, and still helps out the local
		school district Special Education Department.

			On 01/11/92, Jeff married Ami Diane Zensius in San Ramon,
			California. They currently live in Walnut Creek.  Ami was born
			02/07/71.  They have three children, Riley Christoper who was 
			born on 01/30/95 and Maya Patrice born on 03/27/98 and Eliza Laine
			born on 01/15/04.  Jeff is a Senior Financial Advisor at JP 
			Morgan in San Leandro and Ami is a retired high school teacher
			who taught in Walnut Creek and now enjoys retirement and pickleball.
	
 			           Riley is a pilot for SouthWest Airlines. He is a Cal State
				   Davis alumni. On 08/01/25, Riley married Kaitlyn Finnegan in
    			           Saratoga, California.  Kaitlyn Finegan was born on 07/20/92.
            			   She is an Account Manager and a graduate of University of 
         			   San Diego.  Riley & Kaitlyn are currently moving to Walnut Creek and
        			   are expecting their their first baby in August, a son named Bodie.
	
   			           Maya is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Dominican University PA
       				   school and is currently enployed by UCSF Benioff Children's
     				   Hospital in Oakland.  

   			           Eliza is a graduate of UCLA in Political Science.  She is currently
				   planning for her future.  
            
        	        	   The family is joined by their two Pugs, Mable and Theo.

       			On 09/12/98, Brian married Nicole Alix Pessis, in Lafayette, California.
			Nicole was born 04/15/72.  They currently live in San Jose.  They have two
			daughters.  Caitlin Alix who was born on 10/08/01 and Lindsay Brooke was born
			04/04/05. Brian is the City Manager for Campbell and Nicole is working for a
			consulting company.  Both Brian and Nicole love to do gourmet cooking and
		        the girls both love to cook as well as bake.

            			   Caitlin is a graduate of UC Davis and works for a the state in
                                   Sacramento.  She enjoys the outdoors including hiking, paddle
                                   boarding, and exploring Sacramento. 

        			   Lindsay is in her third year at San Diego University in San Diego.

           			   The family is joined by their dog, Bella.

       			On 05/17/18, Scott was married to Nicole Nina Harris in Danville, California.
			Nicole was born 11/15/72.  Nicole is an accountant/bookkeeper & works out of
			their house.  Scott had two children from a previous marriage.  A daughter,
			Ashley Nicole born 03/08/05 and a son, Colin Andrew born 04/03/08.  Scott is
			a Senior Fiber Tech for AT&T in San Francisco.

           			   Ashley is currently in her third year at Diablo Valley Community
          			   College.  She is very interested in the medical field but is
           			   still determining what she wants to pursue.

           			   Colin is a senior in high school and enjoys water polo, diving
            			   and tennis.  He is also very good with computers and technology
           			   and is considering entering that field in the future.  He is life
				   guarding at a local swimming pool.
  
          		           The family is joined by their dog Lily Lou. 


						Our Parents

                Stuart Oscar Loventhal was born 03/27/46 to Elaine M. (Blumenthal) and Martin 
                Simon Loventhal, Jr.  They also had an adopted son Martin Steven Loventhal III.
                Stu was born in Chicago, Ill. as was Elaine.  Martin Jr. was born in Nashville,   
                Tennessee.  Martin III was born in Memphis, Tennessee.  They moved from Chicago
                when Stuart was age 3 to Denver, Colorado.  They lived in and around Denver up 
                until the time Stuart married Mary Lynn.  Elaine was born 09/21/1915 and Martin 
                was born 04/10/1908.  They were married on 07/24/1937.  Elaine died 05/31/1988 
                and Martin died 08/01/1988.  Martin III died on 04/16/19.

                Mary Lynn Thaemert was born 09/06/49 to Bernita Bertha (Hillmer) and Hubert 
                George Thaemert.  Mary was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  Her parents originally
                were from Silvan Grove, Kansas and moved to Colorado.  They had four 
                children.  Mary had two sisters (one of which died shortly after birth) and a 
                brother.  Her sister Katherine Jean was born on 07/16/47, and her brother Mark
                Kenneth was born on 10/14/52.  Bernita was born 04/02/1920 and Hubert was born 
                12/17/1916.  They were married on 04/13/41.  Hubert died on 11/24/1998.  Bernita
                died on 12/10/2010.  Katherine passed away on 01/23/2022.  Mark lives in Colorado
                with his wife Diane.
